Lockdown nearly crippled many businesses, none more so than in the hospitality industry. So it’s great to have clients contact us that have survived, thrived, can see light at the end of the tunnel and are be able to invest in their business to hit the ground running once we are back to normal.
That’s what our good friends at The Raj in Kettering did not long ago to further enhance the interior of their magnificently presented restaurant. We were commissioned to produce a wine / cocktail glass unit to be suspended from the ceiling above the bar area.
After confirming the measurements, the works quickly began to produce this bespoke 30mm x 30mm box section, brushed stainless steel unit. We used the Tig welding method and then dressed (the method of removing of any excess weld and having it look seamless) to produce a beautiful finish. To maximise storage and light in the busy working bar area, we also factored in spaces for 12mm toughened glass shelves, to be placed in upon deliver.
We were lucky enough to be able to deliver the fabrication in person so as to measure up for additional works. This enabled us to have a full tour of the premises (with full protective covid gear on) then treated to a very special takeaway, which was ‘Simply The Best’.
